Center for International Education Speaker Request

At the Center for International Education, we are committed to engaging the campus community about international education.  If your group would like a speaker from the Center to present at an event or class about the benefits of study abroad, engaging with international students, or would like more information about the services the Center provides, please complete the presentation request form and a member of our office will contact you within 3-5 business days.  Please note that due to staff commitments and scheduling during peak times, your request might not be honored or an alternate, such as peer mentor, might be called upon to fulfill your request.  All requests should be made AT LEAST TWO WEEKS prior to the event taking place.  Examples of speaking requests include:

  • First-Year Experience classes, language classes, or any other classes that have a significant international component
  • Student groups who wish to know more about study abroad
  • Departments on campus who would like to know more about developing international programs
  • Campus groups that would like to know more about international students on campus and how to outreach to them
  • Targeted presentations about the benefits of study abroad for certain student demographic groups (first-generation college students, specific majors, students with disabilities, student athletes, etc.)
