Exchange Programs
The College of Charleston has exchange agreements with academic institutions around the world. These exchanges allow College of Charleston students to study for a semester or an academic year at a partner institution while still paying their College tuition. With a few exceptions, exchange students pay room and board to the host institution. Normally, all financial aid applies. Classes taken abroad must be pre-approved before departure to ensure that students will receive transfer credit upon successful completion of the program. Course availability varies from institution to institution. The minimum GPA requirement for participants is a 2.5. In some cases, a 3.0 GPA is required. Interested students should enroll in the Exchange Study Abroad Oaks course and contact Melissa Ochal in the CIE for further information.
